Yes but. . . doctors will not normally recommend surgery immediately if there are alternatives. It is a huge risk because it can damage the ovary. Usually a woman suffering from Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is given medications to counter the condition. If these don't go well, together with other alternatives, then surgery is the last recourse. |
