A few years ago we were misdiagnosed and said everything was fine. Two other specialists later we found out that we were having ovulatory problems.

Have you ever been misdiagnosed? how did it make you feel?

I was misdiagnosed but not for infertility. this is why it is mportant to get a second and even a third opinion to confirm illnesses and diseases.

oh, this sounds disappointing and it took two years for the old tests to be junked. I would have been furious with the old doctor!

No sorry I have not been misdiagnosed of anything. But i agree with Andrew and this sounds very disapointing but it can also be good if the doctor made a mistake and maybe your condition is reversible or can be cured with medication.

Second opinion is important. Doctors are not God and they are not perfect. They are human like us and make mistakes. Get second opinion always especially in something important as fertility or pregnancy and major diseases.

The doctors are not God. They just only depend in their knowledge during their studies, so their diagnoses are sometimes get mistakes. They treat their patient in a trial and error methods. With this methods, if their diagnosed is correct then well and good but if they got mistakes then it is a regrettable moment.
