To tell you honestly I don't know but I think its a personal choice. IVF treatment can increase the risk for ovarian cancer so you have to factor that in. Aside from this there is also cost. I have a girlfriend at the clinic who has done 6 cycles and she is still waiting for the test.

As many as your body can take. I know of people who have had 6 and thinking of more. It also depends on how much your wallet can take.

cost is always an issue and if i had unlimited funds, i would go until I was successful. I read that Celine Dion had 6 cycles plus acupuncture and now she is carrying twin boys.

I could not agree more. IVF is so expensive so its more on how much you can afford rather than how many your body can take. Incidentally, IVF and ovarian cancer have been linked. How true is this?

i always thought that there was a limit to this. but eventually time will run out so it is probably more of how much a woman can take. remember that you will be on fertility meds for the whole time and this can take its toll on the body.
