Would you consider genetic testing before you had embryos implanted?

Gizelle - September 19th, 2010 5:47 PM

If they werent ours then yes. they should be tested for disease. if it is ours then I would take the risk.

Yes, and i think testing is really important just to make sure that everything is safe before doing any processes.

Genetic testing for other sex cells is a must! I dont think i would want to use donated eggs/sperm/embryo but if there is a need for me to do so, then I will get the genetic testing to ensure that I get a healthy baby.

Yes, it's really very important. I would definitely have the testing before implanting the embryos because genetic testing can reveal whether a person carries gene mutations associated with certain inherited diseases.

Yes, very much! It will make me sure of something. There is no harm or wrong of being so sure of something right? Especially as complicated as this?

Of course..genetic testing is a must and it's very important.

Yes. Medical care costs a lot an if its for a donated embryo then even more so.

Fionah - October 14th, 2010 7:44 AM

Surely, I want to have genetic testing. Unfortunately, I don't have the money..I can't afford it. So, sorry for me..huhu!

Couples who are in doubt can have this especially if they both have encountered some genetic problems before.

kellysmith - October 21st, 2010 10:35 AM

I don't think it's necessary. I don't see any sense of it. Sorry..
