what is the most crucial part during the embryo transfer stage?

Candice - July 19th, 2010 3:08 PM

i think the next 24 hours after the transfer is the most important. this is the time that the embryos will implant themselves. then its the waiting game again for the next blood test!

I agree. Getting the embryos to implant in the womb is the most crucial. Once they are securely attached to the womb, then half of the hard part is over...next comes the waiting! =)

I guess it would be the implantation. For various reasons implantation can or does not occur after embryo transfer.

getting the embryo to implant. some embryos do not implant so in effect you miscarry.

women who recently got embryo transfer should take the next 24 hours easily. if you can stay in bed the whole day, the better.

definately implantation. if it does not implant, then you go back to the first step.

I think transfer is also very important. some cells do not like the transfer process and they die before they even try to implant.
