You should find one that has very good reputation. Find one that has very good screening guidlines and one that has reputable and competent staff and doctors on board.

There is actually a study published in Spain that frozen eggs are as good as fresh ones when used in IVF.

According to the Cryobiology Unit at Institut Universitari, IVI, in Valencia in Spain, "embryos derived from frozen eggs are just as likely to develop into an ongoing pregnancy than those derived from fresh eggs."

Anyway, yes a sperm bank or egg donation center should have good rep. Otherwise you may be getting the ride of your life and spend thousands of dollars and get bad eggs/sperm.

I think the lists of characteristics or qualities of a good egg may vary from one fertility center to another. But it is generally agreed that the donor should be 21 years of age and under 35 years old.

Of course, you need to look for a good and better qualities of eggs. Be very sure of it..it's really important.

Ask for a personal recommendation. In our support group, there was a couple that was duped by a woman. Long story short, the eggs she was given were "defective" as the woman did not disclose full medical history.

Ask your doctor, close friends and family who have undergone egg donation.

The center should have good quality eggs with full medical disclosure from the donors. The donors should also be young so as not to compromise egg quality. The clinic should also have very good equipment.

I think if you want to look for eggs, you need to look for a highly respectable egg center..that people who are in-charge of it are all with good reputation and really considered an experts of their job.
