within 24 hours after fertilization the fertilized egg (zygote) undergoes a series of divisions called cleavage. The 1st cleavage results in a four-cell zygote.

I thought this post was about getting cleavage if you undergo fertility treatment...LOL!

What a funny name for cellular division.

Yes, it is!, this name we may think of another thing. Anyway, about this cleavage, it takes seventy-two hours after fertilization, it produces a solid clump with six to twelve cells.I can not imagined how some mothers can afford to abort their fetus inside their womb.It is not easy to form a new human being. That is why abortion is a great sin. Then, on the fourth day, this cleavage has already 16 to 32 cells. it is now called a morula.

First its an egg, then egg and sperm then cleavage then zygote then embryo... then baby...

the cleavage is the four-cell zygote, then cleavage produces a solid clump with six to twelve cells next it is now having sixteen to thirty-two cells, cells division continues transforming on and on. these cells attach themselves to the lining of the uterus.
with this learning hopefully no one would attempt to make abortion.
