Ive had my infertility treatment and I experienced a lot of side effects from it. I had my mood swing, nausea etc. But what makes me bother, is my weight. I have gain a lot of pounds. I'm afraid my weight would be a reason for my fertility treament would not be a success. Can you please suggests some safe ways on how I can lose my weight?

The only safe way I know of is to diet and exercise. If you want to make extra sure since you are undergoing treatments, visit a nutritionist and then seek the help of a professional trainer to assist you.

I agree. My wife and I hit the gym 3x a week for an hour. We also avoid eating red meat and usually stick to veggies, chicken meat and fish.

Losing weight is easy if you discipline yourself on doing what's good for your body and most especially to your health.

Yes, self discipline is really what you need if you want to lose weight. Eat only a healthy meal and schedule yourself to some form of exercise.Sleep well and have a good rest.

I agree. If you use supplements, it can interfere with your infertility treatment so better stick to the basics: diet & exercise.

Did the doctor treating you say that gaining weight is normal side effect of the treatment?

JosiePearson - January 29th, 2011 4:21 PM

I suggest asking your doctor about what's going on, like if this is a normal side effect that your having then visit a nutritionist and ask what you should be eating. Also, I suggest going to the gym to break out a sweat and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

hi MsNice, the safest and sure way in loosing weight is balance diet and daily exercise. I suggest that you eat less rice and meat but more fruits and vegestables...most importantly, self - discipline to achieve this :D
