It is the term used to describe the condition of having an infrequent menstrual period. |

This is infrequent menstruation. Sometimes women menstruate but they are very light and it does not regularly. This is usually found in women with polycsytic ovarian syndrome or PCOS. |

I used to have light periods before but was not diagnosed with this. I think it runs in the family or something because my mother, sister and I only menstruate for 3 days. |

Oligomenorrhea is term used to describe complications or menstrual cycles which a woman who has it experience light or frequent menstruation. |

Maybe it is hormonal related. So women with light periods can have hormone replacement therapy? |

I agree with scales. Forms of ovulation disorder can be treated with hormones. Hormones control ovulation so if this part can be fixed, then perhaps other problems can be avoided. |

Oligomenorrhea is a medical term for frequent or light menstrual periods in women of child bearing age. |

this sounds so weird. I dunno what a heavy or light period looks like but I do know that a regular menstrual cycle will make it easier to predict when a woman is ovulating. |
