Progesterone is blamed for miscarriage which I have had one of. What is the normal progesterone level?

I am not sure what the normal progesterone level is in the blood. However, low progesterone level is one of the reasons for misscarriage.

I never knew that abnormal levels could lead to a miscarriage. I had one several years ago and since then we have been TTC.

It is the progesterone that may prevent the miscarriage, it stimulates the additional building up of the lining of the uterus while further contributing to the action of the estrogen. A decrease in estrogenand progesterone concentration in the blood, the discharge can be characterized as bloody.

As far as I know the hypothalamus if it slows down the release of gonadotropin releasing hormone which causes the pituitary to decrease its release of follicle stimulating hormone. At this stage, the most concentrated hormone in the blood is progesterone.

in a study, there is no specific level of the progesterone, it is in accordance to the release of the anterior pituitary.
