I have recently been diagnosed with Polycystic ovaries but the doctor has told me I have secondary infertility. I am 20 years old and me and my partner have a 3 year old son. We have been TTC for almost a year with no luck, the doctor has said I will probably be referred for IVF after the year mark. Im just wondering is it totally necessary or does anyone think I can conceive naturally. To be honest I dont even know much about Polycystic Ovaries or IVF. I feel so confused can anybody help me it would be much appreciated xx

I've been diagnosed recently and i've been told that as i have a daughgter 5 years old already from a previous relationship i wont be eligible for IVF even though my partner has no biological children of his own , i am eligible for treatments to try and make me ovulate such as clomid etc perhaps these are things for you to consider before going straight into ivf , have you had blood screening done to see if your ovulating at all ? best of luck with ttc x x
