pap smear is an examination of the cervix which is the entrance to the uterus. not only this but an internal exam is also usually conducted during a pap smear so your gynecologist can have a fairly good idea if you are at risk for fertility problems. |

It is best to not only rely on pap test if your main concern is infertility problem. Have the fertility test to be really accurate. |

It depends with your doctor. My wife usually does other tests like a Wet mount and gram staining along with her regular pap smears. I dunno why, her gynecologists usually order those three everytime. |
