What is the leading cause of infertility in women?

Elizea - September 6th, 2010 2:47 PM

Infertility occurs in some women because they ovulate regularly or don't ovulate at all; in others, th e fallopian tubes may be scarred and/or obstructed.

i would say age. most women prefer to have a stable career and then raise a family. it is practical as children are expensive. however, if you wait too long, then the reproductive system also will get old and have a hard time cooperating.

That's it! The woman, who are so engross to her work may sometime become an old maid, or late to decide to enter into a marriage life. And the reproductive organs may become weak to reproduce.

I thin the leading cause is ovulation disorders. This is probably due to factors like stress and hormone imbalance. it can be hard to get pregnant if you dont ovulate regularly or dont ovulate at all.

Why women has a problem of infertility? Some of the causes have already stated above, but let me add to those as of what I've learned, it is about a hormonal imbalances which may be caused by weight problems or excess exercise can also inhibit or halt ovulation.

More on the above stated a certain medical condition, such as endometriosis, chlamydia and pelvic inflammatory disease, can result in scarring and physical obstructions.Every woman who wants to conceive and suspects she is infertile should see a doctor for an evaluation.
