my vagina has high ph level. do you think this affects my inability to get pregnant?

Abnormal pH levels indicate infections. High pH levels can mean Bacterial Vaginosis while low pH can mean a yeast infection.

These diseases are minor. So go see your doctor for treatment.

If it is an infection like BV as stated above some of the bacteria can travel up the uterus and cause infertility problems. This can happen if the BV goes untreated.

A high PH in the vagina means it is more alkaline than acidic which is bad. A healthy vagina tends to be more acid, at around 4.2 to 5 PH. The acidity is due to lactobacillus, the natural defense against infection and/or irritation.

Heya Tanya, you know now that PH level over 7 is not normal. Like others have stated before me, it can be signs that you have an infection. It can be fatal or cause you great discomfort and pain later on when you don't have it treated. Worry about that first before you worry about having a baby.

Just my advice. =D
