I heard that fibroids and polyps can have an impact on female fertility. how so?

It's not really proven yet. And many polyps do not interfere with the ability to get pregnant. However, large or multiple polyps can sometimes results to miscarriage.

I don't know with fibroids but with polyps, it is being found out by some certain studies done by the experts that it has a link between problems of infertility. Although some also disagree.

It is not yet proven whether it can help or it can do flareup of infertility. WE just wait the advice from the experts.

to jobelyn if it can lead to miscarriage, dont you think that it interferes already? your baby dies while it is still in your womb. what's the use of getting pregnant if you cant carry to term?

and fyi, polyps and fibroids can be removed via surgery so if the operation is successful then it can increase chances of getting pregnant.

polyps and fibroids can also alter the uterus shape and make it hard to have a baby. not only this some fibroids and polyps can be large so its going to be cramped inside!
