Once the egg is released, within how many hours should it be fertilized?

Eggs should be fertilized within 12-24 hours of their release from the ovary. This small window is the reason why every woman has 20% chance of getting pregnant per month.

May I add that this time frame gets shorter as we age. Women in their 30's don't have the 24 hour time frame for the viability of their egg.

After the egg is released it should be able to meet a sperm, which this sperm may able to penetrate its head to the egg, within 24 hours after the fertilization, the fertilized egg make a series of divisions.

the 24 hours is when a woman is in her prime. as she gets older, this window gets shorter as well.

this takes great timing. even with timing you need luck as statistics show that women only has 20% chance of getting pregnant per month.
