Having body fat 10-15% above or below normal can lead to fertility issues. In women this can lead to Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome or PCOS.

Yes, being overweight or underweight can lead to infertility problem. That's why it's good to eat well, have a balance diet and make sure to have a normal weight, so that infertility problem or problems in conceiving may be avoided or prevented.

I read in a post here that being underweight and overweight can present infertility problems. I guess we should all strive to be in the proper weight group for our height and age!

I agree! Being in a normal weight will be able us to stay fit and healthy. Much more, it can also help us in staying away from problems of infertility.

There's really nothing wrong if you will just control your diet for healthy purposes..more especially if you want to have a child in the future. What's wrong is if you don't have any discipline on your diet..too much body fats stored can lead to some serious illnesses including infertility.

Not all women who are suffering from PCOS are overweight. There are some also who have this kind of syndrome even they are not overweight because of insulin resistance.
