Ask your doctor about other zinc-rich foods as well. Make sure that you are getting enough Vitamin C, as this can increase your sperm count and motility of the sperm. Take Vitamin C tables or make sure that you eat Vitamin C rich foods such as oranges, strawberries and citrus juices. Enjoy your tomatoes and tomato sauces. These foods are rich in lycopene which is said to get rid of free oxygen radicals. Free oxygen radicals are one of the main causes of male infertility. If you can't stomach tomato products, then take a lycopene supplement. Finally, look into taking certain herbs that are supposed to help with fertility. Many Chinese herbs, including ginsens, saw palmetto, astral Gus and macaw are said to increase sperm count. Some of these herbs are quite powerful, so make sure to talk to an herb specialist, a nutritionist or your doctor before taking any herbs.
In addition to these recommendations, it is always good to get plenty of exercise and to try to keep your stress levels to a minimum. Exercise for at least half an hour a day.
